Laser-cut and heat-formed acrylic sheet assembled into a hydroponic bamboo curtain. This began as a study for a studio project, but I couldn’t resist actually building it.
I laser-cut all the parts, then pressed the two halves of the bamboo holder pockets together using a laser-cut MDF jig after heating them in the oven in my apartment. (I wouldn’t do that again, knowing what I do now about the carcinogens it released.)
The pockets lift out of the frame for watering or pruning.
